“I live in the beautiful country of Switzerland, the land of the Alps, fields of cows and tiny villages. The small country has so much to offer, after living here for three years now, I have only scratched the surface. I love spending my time here in nature, going on hikes through the mountains, biking around the lake or taking a stroll around the neighborhood to go watch the baby cows at the neighbor farm. After spending the day, or just an hour, in the outdoors gives me such a great feeling. I feel more energized, less stressed and happier.”

“No matter if you live in a metropolis or a small town, there is beauty everywhere. So often people tend to take for granted the place they live in. Always when I have visitors over, they are stunned by the views of my little hometown. On the contrary, when I go to our family lake house in Finland, I could sit on the terrace for hours and watch the sparkling lake or be amazed in the Finnish forest. Like I said before, there is beauty everywhere. I’m not a scientist, but even common sense says spending time outdoors is good for you.
In today’s busy world, people tend to spend more time indoors than ever before. Our work-life or studies take a lot of our time, and we all know how addicting Netflix can be. Even when spending time outdoors, the focus is often on the screen of a cell phone, rather than on the surroundings.”

From our last and very successful event, we managed to raise enough money to invest in 350 trees! These trees will be planted in the nearby forest just outside of the Helsinki city center. This small gesture is just one way we are trying to be smarter about how we run our business.
